Uniformed Unit Carnival 2011

Humblest apologies to all of you as we had not updated this blog for some time due to examinations and packed activities as main factors.
Moving on, 2nd July 2011 was a historical day for St. Michael's Institution as the Uniformed Unit Carnival was firstly organised. Several activities and competitions was held on conjunction with this event and was participated by all uniformed unit in the school. We, the St. John Ambulance of St. Michael's Institution had also participated in this grand event.
As for the activities, we participated in setting up stall, selling foods like ice-cream and soft drinks. Besides that, for the competitions, we participated in marching, tent building, logo designing and cooking with four other uniformed units in our school. With the strong spirit and hard work within the members of SMI St. John Ambulance and the help of seniors and teachers, we managed to obtained third place for both marching and tent building during our first participation in this grand event.
If this event were to be held next year again, we would be more prepared and do even better as we always improve year to year discrete of time and place.
Gambateh, St. John Ambulance of St. Michael's Institution!

Here are some sneak peeks of our participation:
