The Team Plan

annual parade is over.....*dont want to say much about it ..there's nothing to say about it..nothing GOOd*....haiz.....anywayz for the past few divisional meetings we've been marching marching marching marching and MARCHING!!!!!! Now, it's time for change.....our division's gonna have some FUN!!!....sorry F3s..u're not invited..coz u have trials..hehe...

anywayz, after the monthly exams, we plan on initiating THE TEAM PLAN.....suggested by our senior, LOOI HONG KEAT....anyway, the team plan divides members into groups...duh..the team plan...each group is completely independant...each supplied with a trainer..its kinda like nco camp....but this plan is GREAT...by dividing members into groups, we're able to establish all sorts of competitions...games, marching etc...COOL, eh? we're starting the team plan after monthly exams...

this is not related to the team plan...but......when was the last time our division had fun????? Which is why we're gonna start to make division our division fun.....after the exams we're gonna organize outings(trips to the cinema maybe), fun meetings which consist of games session only...that kinda stuff..anyway this is just the plan...action begins................after exams...sheesh...i know i know....exams suck

N.C.O. CAMP 2010

Sorry....first time using a blog!! Anywayz, the NCO camp was held on the 14th to the 17th of June. 4 groups: Emerald, Topaz, Ruby, and Sapphire. Due to the abscence of a teacher advisor, we weren't allowed to stay overnight on the 14th ,so dismissal was at 5 while roll call was at 6 the next day. Sorry...mr. phoon's orders! First day didn't go so well as members couldn't conjure a fire for lunch. Using charcoal was a bad idea! Hopefully the future exco board will take note!

Second day was much better. A/SGT H'ng helped out and we managed to get firewood! YIPEE! Camp continued with the usuals. Marching, Lecture, and Games session. A/CPL Cham organized fun yet challenging games. Lights Out was at 1200, after Supper.

Third day. Endurance competition was held at 2.30. Winners: group Emerald. Ironman: L/CPL Chan Chung Wai. Theory test was at 8. During this time, OTs were busy at the pavillion preparing for the main event...CAMPFIRE!!!! There was singing, performances by members and excos....everyone had a great time. It was nice to see the members smile and laugh after a day of hard work.( U noe wat i mean)

4th day. Last day. practical test was at 8. followd by marching competition. winners: group Sapphire. Next was water games....SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH!! Members were dismissed around 2. *sob*

My opinion: I wouldn't say the camp went as smooth as i wanted it to be....Little bumps and errors here and there....But we had a good time..and that's what matters!!

PS: i know.. i know....its july sorry for the late post...was trying to figure out how to use a blog!!

Nursing Cadet - SMJK Poi Lam

WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, it has been the 6th year for the Area-level competition and it's the first time SMI grab the overall champion for the Ambulance Adult category! We make a big circle symbolized unity among all. Our long time senior, Mr. Arvinder Singh shared the joy and sang the school rally together with us.
